About the Golden Pheasants:

Male golden pheasants are brightly coloured with a golden head, red, orange, blue and green wings and body, and a long tail. Females are pale brown.

Habitat and Distribution

Golden pheasants are originally from mountainous forests in China, but there are some wild populations in the UK.    

These pheasants live in small flocks in the wild, often of one male and several females. 

Conservation Status: Common
