A close encounter with our friendly, inquisitive group of coatis is a truly unforgettable one!
Go behind the scenes and help your Zoo Keeper prepare coati snacks, feed these long-nosed lovelies from inside the enclosure, and spend some one-on-one time with your Zoo Keeper who will answer all your coati questions. If you’re lucky, they might even pose for a selfie too!
Book this memorable experience for yourself, or a coati close encounter experience is a fabulously unusual gift for any animal lover aged 5 and up.
A coati close encounter experience will give you exclusive access inside our animal enclosure, behind the scenes of our busy Zoo, and provides plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take wonderful close up photos.
Your Coati Close Encounter
Your coati close encounter experience will last around 30 to 40 minutes and includes:
- Admission into the zoo for the participant
- Exclusive behind-the-scenes access
- The chance to feed our coatis
- One-on-one time with a Zoo Keeper
- The opportunity for some close up coati photos
- An Animal Encounter certificate

For one person: £70
For two people: £110
What's Included
- Entry to the Park is included for the coati close encounter participant(s).
- An additional participant can be added if both participants are from the same group or family, and booked at the same time
- Additional (non participating) guests will require a valid day ticket
- Minimum age 5 years, no maximum age!
How to Book Your Coati Close Encounter Experience
Gift voucher holders will need to contact us to request a booking form. We regret that we are unable to make provisional bookings or take bookings over the phone.
