Burmese pythons can grow to a length of up to seven metres long.
Burmese pythons are found in rainforests in south-east Asia.
Snakes generally live on their own but in captivity can be kept with similar sized snakes. Burmese pythons lay up to 50 eggs into a tree hollow or scrape in the ground. The females control the temperature of the eggs until they hatch.
