VAQAS approved - Drusillas is annually inspected by VAQAS (Visitor Attraction Quality Assured Scheme) and we are proud to have been awarded the accreditation for the last 10 years. 

Smoking Policy - For everyone’s comfort and convenience, special areas have been set up for those who wish to smoke. Please smoke only in these designated areas. 

Recycling - We have two recycling points located in the Park; in the Picnic Area and in Go Wild!  

Parent and Baby rooms - Are located opposite Mokomos Jungle Rock and opposite Explorers Lagoon. Baby changing facilities are also available at the Zoo Entrance, Explorers Restaurant and Go Wild! 

Nappies - Nappy vending machines are available in the Baby Changing Room opposite Explorers Lagoon and in the Parent and Baby Room behind Explorers Lagoon.

Sanitary products - Are available in the Ladies toilets in the main toilet block opposite Explorers Lagoon.

Anadin - Vending machine is located in the ladies toilets opposite Explorers Lagoon. 

Cashback - Is available (with purchase) at the zoo entrance and most retail and catering outlets.  

Unaccompanied Children Under 16 - Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed entry to the park unless accompanied by a suitable adult.

Play Areas - All play areas are designed for children 12 years or under. All play areas are unsupervised and accompanying adults should supervise their children.

Lost children - In the event of a lost child please report to Mungos Trading Post. We have clear policies and procedures in place for finding children quickly.

Lost property - Please report lost items to the zoo entrance (on day of visit) or alternatively call 01323 874100 and then press * followed by 608 to report lost property. 

First Aid - We have a First Aid room and qualified first aiders on site. 

Picnics - Are permitted in designated areas only. 

Dogs - No pets (except Guide Dogs) are allowed in the Park. Sorry, no kennel facilities.

Car Parking - Free of charge. Cars are parked at your own risk.

Public telephone - A public telephone is available in Explorers Café Restaurant and there is a freephone taxi service at the zoo entrance. Drusillas is in a poor area for mobile coverage.

Lockers - Are situated in the Picnic Area and are available at a charge of £1.

Opening and Closing - Summer opening 10am – 6pm. Last admission 5pm. Car Park closes 6.15pm.

Winter opening 10am – 5pm.
Last admission 4pm. Car Park closes 5.15pm.



Disabled Access & Special Needs

  • Drusillas Park is accessible to all, with wheelchair routes and low level viewing.

  • 'Sensory Trail' with booklet.

  • Wheelchairs are available on request subject to availability. A refundable deposit of £20 cash is required.

  • Wheelchair access on Thomas train.

  • Accessible picnic tables.

  • Hearing induction loops at admission gate.

  • Contrasting colours on information signage.

  • Accessible parking close to the zoo entrance.

  • Accessible toilets.
