Fennec Foxes
Vulpes zerda

Desert-dwelling fennec foxes are the smallest of all the world's foxes, with comparatively enormous ears. These pointed appendages radiate body heat away from the foxes, keeping them cool. Fennec foxes’ sandy fur keeps them camouflaged in the desert, while the fur on the soles of their feet protects them from hot sand.
Fennec foxes are found in deserts, sand dunes and other dry areas in North Africa.
Fennec foxes are social animals that mate for life. They live with their offspring in a family group of up to ten individuals.
